MS/PhD opportunity in South Korea‏

Dear Members,

ASLAM-O-ALLEKUM.

Our lab (Digital Signal Processing and Multimedia System Lab., Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Chosun University, Gwangju South Korea) has an opening for foreign students to pursue MS or PhD. Students who are willing to do MS leading to PhD are more preferred.

Our lab is researching in following two main topics:

1. RFID (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RFID)

2. Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR)/Computer Vision

Current opening is in the field of: CBIR (Computer Vision).

Potential candidate should have following basic profile:
1. GPA 3 or higher (less GPA may also be accepted if one has good score in English Test i.e. TOEFL).
2. TOEFL iBT 80 or more.
3. Good programming skills, especially in Matlab.
4. Can do research without or with little guidance.
