Associate Project Analyst

ADB is an international development finance institution whose mission is to help its developing member countries reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of their people.

They are currently looking to fill in the following key vacancy in Pakistan:

Associate Project Analyst: Southeast Asia Department (SERD) / Philippines Country Office (PHCO)

JOB PURPOSE: To provide analytical, administrative and statistical support on project processing and implementation as well as economic, thematic and sector work and to establish and maintain close liaison with Government counterparts and other development partners on project related matters.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business administration or a field related to development.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level
A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Strong analytical skills. Solid understanding of decentralization and/or development effectiveness issues would be an asset
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of ADB operational processes and procedures, in particular those related to project processing and administration
Proven ability to undertake background research and analysis on difficult but well defined tasks
Ability to analyze and develop data; good interpersonal and team skills; ability to set priorities for tasks in order of importance .
